Courtney Marquard is a New York based editor and assistant editor.


Her editing work has been selected for over 20 film festivals, including New Faces New Voices, HotDocs, and New York Shorts International Film Festival, and has been programmed online at Girls in Film, Labocine, and Bureau of Creative Works. In the branded space, she has edited content for clients like Adidas, Puma, and The New York Times.


As an assistant editor, some of her credits include Mark Mylod’s THE MENU, Ari Aster’s EDDINGTON, and currently Joel Coen’s JACK OF SPADES.


She was an assistant editor at the Sundance Director’s Lab in 2023 and 2024, and accepted into the 2024 BAFTA connect program for emerging filmmakers.
She is 1/3 of @girlsinfilm_nyc, where she programs local screenings and events.
